Instructions:
Toss the walnuts in the 1 tablespoon of walnut oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Let cool. Make dressing with the cider vinegar, mustard, and walnut oil. Arrange lettuce on 4 places. Sprinkle walnuts and blue cheese on top and add dressing. Serve at once. Notes:
And old favorite from the family dairy farm, where the cream used was fresh from the cows. Even if you don't have access to cows, the flavors here still really come together. |
